LPGA National Teacher of the Year

Rita Reasons began her teaching career at the Nancy Quarcelino School of Golf in 1993. She quickly gained recognition as an accomplished instructor both on a local and national level. Prior to her work in the golf industry, Rita was an accomplished classical musician and also had a successful career in banking at the managerial level.

 

As a coach, Rita is a skilled motivator who also educates her students to understand the need for strong fundamentals and a focused mindset in order to play their very best golf. Her passion for golf and her skill as an educator is exhibited in the success of her students and in the innovative programs she develops for the Nancy Quarcelino School of Golf.

 

Rita is an active member of the LPGA and has served as President of the Midwest Section of the Teaching and Club Professional membership and on the Executive Leadership Committee. She coaches golfers of all levels of ability including collegiate golfers and junior players who compete at the national level.

First time ever on a golf course was as a caddy for my brother Gaylon

Didn’t actually start playing golf until after college

My first golf lesson was with Nancy Quarcelino

Knew I was hooked on golf after working as a volunteer for the LPGA Sara Lee Classic

Enjoys vacationing either in the mountains, near the ocean, or in the desert; really just enjoys being outdoors

Love working in my yard and landscaping

Rita has coached golfers of all levels of ability; including professional athletes, tour players, club champions, and junior golfers competing at the national level.
