LPGA-USGA Girls Golf

We’re not your typical junior golf program!

Founded 25 years ago, we’ve grown into a community of more than 60,000 girls across the globe who are learning and loving the game! Run in partnership between the LPGA Foundation and the United States Golf Association (the governing body in golf), LPGA*USGA Girls Golf (Girls Golf) is a non-profit 501-c3 junior golf program with sites in more than 380 communities across the country.

Girls Golf sites provide girls with quality golf instruction led by LPGA and PGA teaching professionals. Not only are we experts in taking girls from beginner to advanced golfers, but we also specialize in creating experiences that show girls just how much fun golf really is!

Girls Golf members learn more than just the game of golf. We help empower them with confidence and teach them valuable life skills. From Leadership skills to inspiring healthy living, we use the Five E’s of Girls Golf to Empower, Enrich, Engage, Exercise, and Energize girls through the game of golf.

LPGA Top 50 Teachers, Rita Reasons and Nancy Quarcelino are the Site Directors for the Gaylord Springs Golf Links Chapter. They recognized the benefits of Girls Golf, in 1994, when they were asked by the LPGA to establish one of the initial Girls Golf programs in the United States. For the past 24 years, Rita and Nancy have continued to provide girls the opportunity to learn about the game through the Girls Golf program.

Girls Golf Days at Gaylord Springs Golf Links

Girls Golf Days provide a fun environment, for girls ages 7-12,  to learn about the game of golf and to continue to work on their skills to progress as a player.

Emphasis will be on instruction and checkpoints in five core areas of golf:

Putting • Around the Green • Full Swing • Knowledge • Scoring

Girls must have their own clubs and be enrolled in the national LPGA Girls Golf initiative in order to participate. The Nancy Quarcelino School of Golf is an authorized US Kids Golf clubfitter and clubs can be ordered prior to juniors attending their first session.
