We just came back from the Solheim Cup in Chicago and what a tournament that was! U.S.A. beat Europe 16-12 in match play competition. We have never lost on home soil and this tournament proved that we were strong as a team.
It was great to see Michelle Wie play up to her potential. She had the best record of anyone on Team U.S.A. (3 wins, 0 losses, 1 tie) and really looked as if she felt at home with the rest of the team. Beth Daniel made two great captain picks in Julie Inkster and Michelle Wie and the 120,000 fans loved watching saw close matches that could have gone any way.
